Wrinkles of the City or how to bring out the history of large metropolises of the world through the face of their oldest inhabitants. For this project started eight years ago, JR photographed and painted on the walls of Cartagena (Spain), Shanghai, Los Angeles, Havana, Berlin and Istanbul, portraits of those who incarnate the memory of these cities often marked by the scars of history, economic expansion and socio-cultural mutations.
