From May 25th to June 27th, 2016, invited by the "world's largest museum", JR chose to make it disappear one of its symbols, the pyramid of the Louvre, thanks to an unexpected anamorphosis.
These two images belong to a series of 30 photographs captured from June 7th to 21st 2016, the day of the summer solstice. Every day, JR photographed his installation at the exact time of sunrise and sunset, giving each of these images a unique character as evidenced by their title. Contrary to appearances, the dark sky is that of dawn whereas the more lighted version corresponds to the sunset.
